Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 15, 2026. This page explains what information LiveStudy collects, why it is used, how Google Sign-In works, and the choices available to users.

LiveStudy uses Google Sign-In for account authentication. Interactive account features are available only after a user is authenticated.

1. Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, LiveStudy may collect your Google account email address, display name, profile photo, account role, study profile details, and information you choose to publish, including posts, comments, room information, follows, messages, and profile content.

We may also process technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as session identifiers, approximate network information, browser/device information, security logs, and timestamps.

2. Google Sign-In

When you choose Google Sign-In, Google provides LiveStudy with the identity information permitted by Google's sign-in service, such as your email address, name, profile photo, and verified-email status. LiveStudy uses that information to create or access your account and establish a secure authenticated session.

3. How we use information

  • Create and secure user accounts and sessions.
  • Provide study rooms, community, messaging, profile, and related functionality.
  • Save user-created content and preferences.
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, spam, impersonation, and unauthorized access.
  • Investigate reports and enforce platform rules.
  • Provide support and respond to legitimate service requests.

4. Public content

Content intentionally published to public areas of LiveStudy may be visible to other users and visitors. Do not publish information that you do not want to make public.

5. Storage and security

Account and application data is stored on server-side database infrastructure. LiveStudy uses authenticated server sessions and security controls intended to protect account and application data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and session technologies

LiveStudy uses necessary cookies and similar technologies to maintain authenticated sessions, temporary guest state, security protections, and site functionality.

7. Third-party services

LiveStudy uses third-party services such as Google for authentication and may use other providers for hosting, database infrastructure, payments, communications, or security. Those providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and under their own policies.
